The Loft
You will never experience anything like a night in "The Loft." A spiral staircase leads you to the third floor where you escape to this 173 year old getaway nestled in the tops of pecan trees. As you lie in the king size bed or the antique twin, you look up to exposed rafters and unique wrought iron. Walking on original random-width heart pine floors takes you back in time. Enjoy a long hot bath in the cast iron clawfoot tub while you listen to the birds singing just outside your window, then slip into a soft warm robe while you enjoy your homebaked breakfast delicacies, fresh fruits, breads, pastries, and assorted beverages in bed or at your private dining area. Other amenities include private garden, TV/DVD, video library, cable, wireless internet, mini frig, mircrowave, and house tour. Rate $139 per night (double occupancy, regular rate).
